Many trains are operated by a driver without the assistance of a second crew member, and the driver alone performs the multiple roles of driving, fare collection and making announcements. In this scenario our unassisted driver systems serve the supporting role for route operation. LECIP handles the full range of onboard rail equipment, beginning with units for managing fare collection from fare boxes, contactless smart card systems, boarding voucher printers and fare display devices, to equipment for onboard guidance including destination displays, interior display units and automated accouncement systems. Our systems are adopted broadly nationwide, from the various divisions of JR Railways that form the core of Japan's rail transit system, to the various other domestic rail lines.
