| LECIP got its start in 1953 as a specialized manufacturer of neon transformers and interior fluorescent lighting for buses. In the fifty odd years since our founding, we have continued to make progress by adapting to the changing needs of our customers and the times. Today, we are developing our business based on the three pillars of lighting, electrical power conversion, and information processing. Our business areas cover transport equipment, namely electrical systems for bus, rail and automotive systems, signs and displays (S&D), including neon transformers and controllers, and industrial equipment, such as battery-operated forklifts rechargers and backup power supplies. In each of these areas, we produce numerous products with top shares in their respective markets. Our subsidiary, LECIP Electronics Corporation, is also advancing into electronic manufacturing services (EMS) with its operations for mounting printed circuit boards. Through our technology and our products, LECIP has always made clear its
purpose, seeking a good relationship with society for the enhancement of
both society and of us, its individual members. All the members of the LECIP Group are contributing to society by continually developing new technologies and products based on the three pillars of lighting, electrical power conversion, and information processing. In doing so we seek to create comfort in the everyday for everyone.
